Layer One Industries has a simple mission, MAKING PEOPLE’S LIVES BETTER.  Layer One Industries is the exclusive licensee of the ArthroShield technology for the bedding and travel markets.  ArthroShield is a patent pending technology that brings a tried and true insecticide to the world of textiles.  The critical element used in ArthroShield is pesticide free, safe for humans and pets, EPA tested and approved, and university studied.  End result, we KILL BED BUGS.  While our initial focus is BED BUGS, the ArthroShield technology also kills fleas, ticks, lice, dust mites, and ants just to name a few arthropods. 

Layer One’s initial product line will address the problem of BED BUGS where we sleep and where BED BUGS feed, the bed.  Mattress encasements, box spring encasements, and the ArthroPad are proactive solutions for combating BED BUGS. Layer One’s bedding products can be used at home, in hotels, dorm rooms, and barracks. 

When you have a bedbug issue at home, the bedbugs most likely hitchhiked in a suitcase, purse, backpack, gym bag, or clothing.  So if we're trying to MAKE PEOPLE'S LIVES BETTER, let's stop them from hitchhiking home.  Layer One has recently introduced a repellent spray for short term protection.  For extended protection, our newest product, BEDBUG 360 Repellent Balls offers up to 60 days of protection.  The Repellent Balls are great for SCHOOL, WORK, and TRAVEL.  The balls are made to drop in luggage, backpacks, purses, gym bags, and briefcases.  It's common sense, but DON'T BRING THEM HOME
